Pootle server for Hebrew translation of help files for OpenOffice.org version 3.1.0.

You must be a registered user to edit the translations. You need not be a registered user to view the translations.

To register, please click on the 'Register' link, and send an email to the administrator with a request to join the project. Please include your name, and write which portion of the help files you would like to work on. If approved, you will receive a username and password.

Pootle is a simple web portal that should allow you to translate! Since Pootle is Free Software, you can download it and run your own copy if you like. You can also help participate in the development in many ways (you don't have to be able to program).

The Pootle project itself is hosted at translate.sourceforge.net where you can find the details about source code, mailing lists etc.

The name stands for PO-based Online Translation / Localization Engine, but you may need to read this.
